Fabricio Raúl Jesús Oberto born March 21, 1975 in Las Varillas, Córdoba, Argentina is an Argentine expert basketball player, at present playing for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. He is a 6' 10", 245 lb center/power self-assured. He has double Argentine and Italian nationality.

At age 17, Oberto went to a test at AD Atenas de Córdoba, one of the most significant basketball clubs in Argentina, and was selected to begin the subsequent year, and started playing efficiently later that year. In 1998, after being selected MVP of the Argentine league,

Fabricio Raúl Jesús Oberto born March 21, 1975 in Las Varillas, Córdoba, Argentina is an Argentine expert basketball player, at present playing for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. He is a 6' 10", 245 lb center/power self-assured. He has double Argentine and Italian nationality.

At age 17, Oberto went to a test at AD Atenas de Córdoba, one of the most significant basketball clubs in Argentina, and was selected to begin the subsequent year, and started playing efficiently later that year. In 1998, after being selected MVP of the Argentine league, he transfer to the Greek Olympiakos, starting his experience that would take him to Spain's TAU Cerámica a year later.

After two Spanish leagues with TAU, he moved to Pamesa Valencia in 2002.He started playing with Argentina previous to long before his 20th birthday in 1995, and because then has played 70 matches, and won a shape of tournaments counting the 2004 Olympic gold medal match.
